In order to better help international students applying China scholarships, China government has set up a series of China scholarships together with related institutions. Till now, most China universities provide abundant categories of China scholarship for international students. Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) as one of the worldly-famous universities offers 3 kinds of China scholarship including Chinese Government Scholarship, Chinese Local Government Scholarship, and University Scholarship.

China Scholarship: Chinese Government Scholarship in CAFA

This kind of China scholarship for international students in CAFA provides Bilateral Program.
Generally, this kind of China scholarship covers full or partial scholarship with a waiver of fees of tuition, accommodation, registration fee, outpatient medical service and comprehensive medical insurance and basic textbook fee together with an offering of monthly living allowance and one-off settlement fees.
Applicants of this China scholarship need to apply to designated institutions respectively or CUCAS between January and April in general. Applicants of this China scholarship will receive their monthly living allowance from the date of registration.
Generally, there are age limits to corresponding degrees. Applicants of this China scholarship pursuing bachelor degree should be under 25; those pursing master degree should be under 35; those pursing doctor degree should be under 40; those studying Chinese language without degrees should be under 35; the general scholars should be under 45; the senior scholars should be under 50.
It is worth mentioning that this China scholarship requires annual evaluation for international students enjoying the scholarship in China in the next year.

China Scholarship: Chinese Local Government Scholarship in CAFA

This kind of China scholarship for international students in CAFA provides Beijing Government Scholarship targeting at new bachelors.
Generally, this kind of China scholarship covers partial scholarship of tuition only.
Applicants of this China scholarship need to apply to CAFA or CUCAS directly on late-September each year. Applicants of this China scholarship will get a waiver of their tuition fees.
Generally, there are some notable eligibility requirements for example applicants shall pass all the required courses once with scores of 85 or more and pass all the selective courses from the second year.

China Scholarship: University Scholarship in CAFA

This kind of China scholarship for international students in CAFA provides China Central Academy of Fine Arts Scholarship including First, Second and Third Prize.
Generally, this kind of China scholarship offers one-off bonus from 2000RMB to 4000RMB. Applicants of this China scholarship generally need to apply directly to CAFA or CUCAS before the end of each semester.
Generally, there are some notable eligibility requirements, for example applicants get awards according to their score ranks in the university in principle. More detailed eligibility requirements can be found on CUCAS Scholarship website.
