How to Apply Shanghai University Scholarship Shanghai University (SHU) is a member of Project 211 of China. English taught MBA program is available for international students to apply. Shanghai Government Scholarship is one of the several scholarship programs provided by SHU, which includes a full, partial and one-time scholarship.

Basic Information

1. Available to: Degree Students (master’s and doctoral degree); Non-degree students (long-term students)
2. Scholarship Coverage: Full scholarship (tuition fee, basic accommodation, accident insurance, living allowance); Partial scholarship (tuition fee); One-time scholarship: RMB 4000 or 8000
3. Application Date: From Mar 30 to May 30 each year
4. Application Fee: RMB 500 and non-refundable

How to apply Shanghai Government Scholarship in SHU

  • Step 1: Apply through Study in Shanghai Website. Fill the Application Form for Shanghai Government Scholarship online and download the application form
  • Step 2: Prepare other required application documents, including passport copy, notarized graduation certificate & degree certificate of the most advanced studies /pre-graduate certificate, notarized transcripts, language certificate, study plan or research proposal and two recommendation letters
  • Step 3: Send the completed application form and other application documents to Admission Office of International Exchange College of SHU
  • Step 4: Experts in SHU will review applicants' documents and screen scholarship candidates. , SHU will inform the results to all applicants through E-mail
  • Step 5: The scholarship winners will receive the admission documents
