How to apply University of Science and Technology Beijing scholarship —Beijing Government Scholarship

Beijing Government Scholarship was established by Beijing Government to attract more international students to study in Beijing. You can apply this scholarship program in USTB through the International Students Office during March to May (new students) and May (current enrolled students).

Step 1: Apply during March to May (new students) and in May (current enrolled students).

Step 2: For new students: Fill the application form for “Beijing Government Scholarship for International Students” and prepare the following application documents: (1) completed application form; (2) notarized photocopy highest diploma and transcripts; (3) photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form; for graduate (two more): (4) a research or study proposal in Chinese or English; (5) Two letters of recommendation;

Step 3: Submit these documents to the International Students Office and they will judge whether you are eligible to get the scholarship

Step 4: Keep contact with the Office for final application result.
