Normally, two options are available: You can book through the school’s website or by using CUCAS accommodation booking service.

• Booking Through the School

As a matter of fact, accommodation information on the school’s website sometimes has not been updated for a long time. Therefore, if you book through the school, you may find it very difficult to catch up with the latest information. And it stands a high chance that you couldn’t get your first choice room type at last.

• Booking Through CUCAS

CUCAS provides our students the Accommodation Booking Service, if you have applied through CUCAS, you can book your accommodation for free.
1) Intro
Qualified applicants can reserve university accommodations through CUCAS Accommodation Booking Service System. This service mainly provides options of student dormitories. You can book your accommodation after login your CUCAS account. Yet CUCAS will also direct you to choose nearby hotels if you are not interested in living on campus.

2) Service Fee
CUCAS users are free to use our service, while non-CUCAS users can only book accommodation of Beijing Language and Culture University and will be charged $100 for using this service.

3) Suggestions
In case of insufficiency, we advise you to book accommodation once you receive the admission notice. Some universities do not accept room reservation and adopts the rule of “First come, first served”. So CUCAS advises you to come early during the registration period.
