On May 14, 2015, the 6th International Cultural Festival of UIBE (University of International Business and Economics) opened with the theme “A belt moving to the world, A road leading to dreams”, attracting students all around the world participating enthusiastically and widespread attention. UIBE offers 3 scholarships programs for international students: (1) Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS); (2) Beijing Government Scholarship; (3) UIBE Scholarship.
(1). UIBE is approved by MOE China to admit Chinese Government Scholarship students. As for CGS program in UIBE, there are three subprograms, including Bilateral Program, CGS University Post Graduate Program and CGS Cooperative Program with Provinces, Municipalities and Autonomous Regions, which covers tuition fees, accommodation, living allowance and insurance, counting an attractive scholarship program for students to apply.

How to apply UIBE scholarships
- 1. For CGS Bilateral Program, students should apply through the dispatching authorities or Chinese Embassy in students’ home country during Jan to Apr. But for specific application time and other things, you should consult the information to the dispatching authorities. For CGS University Post Graduate Program and CGS Cooperative Program with Provinces, Municipalities and Autonomous Regions, students should apply directly through the university and submit the required application documents during Feb 1 to Apr 15. The university will review the applicants’ materials and determine the scholarships holders according to the applicants’ performance.
- 2. For Beijing Government Scholarship,
Step 1: Consult to the dispatching authorities in your home country about the application information and download the Application Form for Beijing Government Scholarship in UIBE admission website
Step 2: Fill the application form and prepare the required application documents: (1) notarized highest diploma and transcripts; (2) Foreigner Physical Examination Form; (3) study plan or research for degree or research students; (4) Applicants for music and art are requested to submit the applicants’ own works
Step 3: Submit the application form and documents to the university and wait for your application results. UIBE will determine whether you are eligible to get the scholarship.
- 3. For UIBE scholarship, This scholarship program’s evaluation is proceded semi-annually and annually according to the applicants’ academic and social performance.
